This local’s favorite features fresh caught fish served up by a family run business.
This simple but beautiful beachfront restaurant is a local's favourite and was recommended to us by the manager of Tigerlily’s Boutique Hotel (read about Tigerlily’s here). She said that is was the best place on the island to get fresh, tasty fish.
Enjoying wine at Man O' War Vineyards.
All seats have a beach view at this open air restaurant.
Nyoman’s is a great little restaurant, with sand floors and simple but nice decor. The thing I loved most about this restaurant is that it’s a family owned and run business; the owner catches the fish and his wife does all the cooking. They feature fresh, locally caught fish prepared in traditional Balinese methods. It makes for a very fresh and very tasty meal.
“When you’re on an island it’s such a great experience to eat fish that was caught just a few hours ago. It doesn’t get fresher than that.”

We also enjoyed that 90% of the people in the restaurant where locals, so we felt like we were supporting a true, locally run establishment.
We both got the catch of the day, steamed in banana leaves and served with rice and vegetables. Overall it’s a great place to grab a bite on Nusa Lembongan.
