TOP BEACHES IN NUSA LEMBONGAN & NUSA CENINGAN

Nusa Lembongan & Nusa Ceningan have so many amazing beaches, you just have to know where to look.

There are so many gorgeous beaches on Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan, you just have to go exploring to find them. The best thing to do is to rent a scooter and venture out, riding along the perimeter of these islands and finding which beach suits you best. However, if you are looking for some guidance, check out some of our favorite beaches we visited during our time on these islands.
“Exploring these gorgeous, empty beaches was one of my favourite experiences during our trip to Bali.”

1. Secret Beach

Nusa Lembongan - This was my favourite beach that we visited during our trip because it was off the beaten path and therefore it was completely empty. While none of the beaches on these island get particularly crowded, it’s still so special to have your own private beach to hang out at. It felt like our own little private paradise. The water here has a lot of coral so it’s not great for swimming, however if you like a nice empty beach for sunbathing and wading in the water, this is your prime spot to go. Also, the seashells here were a spectacular purple color which was a gorgeous sight.

2. Sandy Bay

Nusa Lembongan - This beach is very long, and is great for long walks on the beach. This was also one of our favourite places to come to in order to see the spectacular sunsets.

3. Jungut Batu Beach

Nusa Lembongan - This beach is also a great place to relax and kick back around sundown to catch the stunning sunset. You can also see Mt. Agung in the distance from this beach which is really spectacular. Looking for a drink to go with your sunset? Grab yourself a prime seat in a beanbag at Blue Corner Bar & Restaurant.

4. Mushroom Beach

Nusa Lembongan - This will be the first beach you see when you arrive on the ferry. This is a great beach for snorkeling as the water is deep enough and there is tons of coral and fish. However, a lot of boats come in and out from this beach to so be sure to stay in the designated areas to stay safe.

5. Paradise Beach

Nusa Lembongan - This is the largest beach we discovered during our trip, and it’s unique as it’s located right next to the mangroves. You can see Mt. Agung from this beach as well and the water is very shallow, flat and calm here.

6. Dream Beach

Nusa Lembongan - I think the name says it all. This powdery, white beach is complemented by the crystal clear turquoise waters.

7. Blue Lagoon

Nusa Ceningan - This because is located right next to secret beach and overlooks the Mahana Point Cliff that many people enjoy jumping off of. So, you can park it on this beach and watch people do interesting tricks off the cliffs.
